About

Manzil-e-Sufi

Bio: I am a perpetually nomadic story teller, cut from a different cloth. I was born in the USA, then pursued International Development in Canada, and Islamic Studies and Media/ Communications Governance in the United Kingdom. I have hopped from journalism to communications strategy, and have served in the fields of broadcast television, mobile technology, humanitarian relief and disaster management, and banking. I live to tell stories that connect people around the world, opening horizons and building bridges between all walks of life. In this blog I will record my adventures and experiences as I follow Sufi singer Sanam Marvi to uncover her life, faith, and vision as a Sufi singer from Sindh.
